A beautiful Labor Day weekend spent kayaking down the Blind Slough (a tributary off the Wrangell Narrows) and along the narrows to Papke’s dock landing. We kayaked through thousands of beautiful Coho salmon making their return trip from the ocean up the slough to spawn. Fish jumping over the ends of our kayaks … fishermen all around … a beautiful sunny day in southeast Alaska. We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
