Brenda brings unique insight and experience to prospective sellers and buyers in Haines. She has over a decade of experience with construction projects in Haines and throughout Southeast Alaska. This experience, coupled with insight gained while serving her community as a Haines Borough Planning Commissioner, has provided her with extensive knowledge of Haines real estate.
Favorite pastimes include spending time snow machining, kayaking, and fishing with her family at their Chilkat Lake cabin. Her personal experience owning property in a remote area provides firsthand perspective into the opportunities and challenges remote property ownership in Haines Borough has to offer.
Her credentials include maintaining Enrolled Agent status as a federally licensed tax practitioner. She also is a professionally trained chef holding degrees of Associates of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Her higher education pursuits also include the award of Master of Business Administration with a Specialization in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
